When taking photographs Joel has to consider the composition, alongside the challenges presented by the physical shaking caused by his Cerebral Palsy. This is the main reason Joel prefers a DSLR over compact cameras or phones. With a DSLR he can manipulate the setting to counteract the shaking, and adapt the look of the images before editing.
